Your Greatest Asset

Do you realize that you already possess your greatest asset? It is not your home, your stocks, your higher education degrees, or any of your investments.

Your greatest assest, the one that did not you a single penny, is your mind. Your mind has the power to generate genius ideas that can yield you millions of dollars for the rest of your life. Most assests are made of physical things, the things that you can put an actual value or dollar amount upon. There is absolutely no dollar amount or value that you can place upon your mind and your minds capabilities.

Most self made millionaires are very creative people. Many of us may not think that we are creative, but I believe that every single person has the capicity to be creative. You do not need a ton of ideas rushing into your head every moment of the day in order for you to feel that you are a creative person. Remember that it only takes one idea, one great idea to change your life.

If you begin to put more focus on the one greatest assest that you have, your mind, you will be well on your way to becoming a self made millionaire.

How To Make Your Goals Come Alive

Most of us know that we have to set goals in order to accomplish things in life. Before goals can be set, we should ponder what it is we actually want out of life. What are the reasons we are here and what would we like to do before we leave the world.

Too many people get caught up with day to day living that they forget about their goals. Goal setting may seem like too much work to add one more thing to the plate. But if a goal is to ever get accomplished, it has to start somewhere.

One of the first things we can do is create vivid images in our minds. When we create images in our mind, we have the power to turn those images into physical manifestations. Think about those images at least once a day in a down time minute. Everyone has a minute they can think about something. When you go for a drink of water for example, think about your goals and what you can do to one step closer.

It is important to set goals because they give us meaning and add direction to our lives. Without any goals at all, many people wander aimlessly through life, and before you know it, the end is approaching.

So many people do not accomplish their goals because they put them off as another chore. When a goal is looked at as a chore, it probably means that the goal was not set specifically and measurably. We have to set time tables and stick to them when it comes to our goals. Time is a rapidly moving thing and time will go by whether you accomplish your goal or not.

When we set specific goals, we are able to take action in small steps. We know exactly what we want and what is required to get there. Once we know exactly what is required, only then can we measure how long it will take to get there. Often times, goals seem too long to accomplish that we give up. Take chunks of your goals and break them up into smaller accomplishments and before you know it, you have fully accomplished the entire goal.

Is Knowledge Power?

We have all heard the term, "Knowledge Is Power." The term in fact is very true, the more knowledge that you can acquire, the more you open yourself to opportunities that did not exist in your life. But there is one big problem with this power of knowledge.

The biggest problem with "Knowledge Is Power" is that many people are not using this power. The reality is that knowledge alone is not power. What good is it to have all the knowledge in the world if this knowledge is not applied in any way, shape or form?

A man or woman can have a million brilliant ideas floating around in their minds. There are some extremely creative people in the world, but something seems to happen to a lot of them when it comes to actually taking action. There is sort of a delay in the mind that they will someday get to it.

So what happens to those ideas? They get put on the back burner and more new ideas come to the surface because creative people are always thinking of new things, so the old ideas are washed away.

This is a vicious cycle that repeats itself over and over again and nothing ever gets accomplished. The ideas are there and many of them are brilliant indeed, but if the knowledge one has acquired is not applied, then knowledge is wasted.

Maybe we should rethink the term and begin saying, “Applied Knowledge is Power.
